Your profile
Your username, display name and flag, and the public page that shows them.
Signing in for the first time asks you to set up your profile: a username, a display name and a flag. It starts filled in (from your Google or Apple name, and your country) so one tap is enough. You can change it later in Profile › Account › Edit profile. Sharing and publishing need it, so people know who's sharing.
Username
Your username is your address: rondo.matthewsource.com/u/yourname. It has 3 to 20 lowercase letters, digits and underscores, and is yours alone.
- You can change it once every 30 days. Choosing it the first time doesn't count.
- An old username stays reserved for you for 30 days, and its address leads to your new one.
Display name and flag
The display name is how you appear next to your decks: any name, in any script. The flag is optional, and can be any country or none.
Your public page
View profile opens it. Anyone can see:
- your names, flag, and when you joined;
- whether you have Pro;
- your decks on Discover;
- your activity: reviews, days studied, streaks, minutes, cards learned, and a calendar of the year.
To hide your activity, turn on Hide my activity in Profile › Account. Your names and decks on Discover stay visible.
Profiles follow the community rules. A restricted account's profile isn't shown to others.
