Share a deck

Invite people to study or edit with you, or publish a deck on Discover.

Open a deck of yours and choose Share. Sharing covers the deck and its sub-decks, and needs a connection.

Everyone keeps their own progress. Editors change the notes for everyone; nobody changes anyone else's schedule.

Invite people

RoleCan
Can studyStudy the deck.
Can editStudy, and add or change notes.
  • Invite by email: they get an email with a link.
  • Create a link: anyone with the link can join, for 7 days.

An invitation opens a page showing the deck as Discover would (its description, sub-decks and a few sample cards), with Join. People and pending invitations are listed in the share sheet, to change their role, remove them, or revoke an invitation; removing or revoking asks first. Letting people edit needs Pro; if your Pro ends, editors can still study.

Publish to Discover

Turn on Publish to Discover and the deck appears on Discover for anyone to find, with its description, language, and a few sample cards. You need your profile set up first. Turning it off takes it off Discover; people who follow it keep it.

Decks shared with you

They appear under Shared with you on Home and in the sidebar, with who shared them. Leave stops borrowing one.

On Discover, Follow adds a deck to Shared with you, and it keeps getting its author's changes. Copy gives you your own copy to change; it doesn't follow the deck.

Moving one of your sub-decks out of a deck others borrow asks first: they lose access to it.

Decks on Discover follow the community rules. Report on a deck or profile tells moderators about one that doesn't.

If an author deletes a deck you borrow, or their account, you keep it: it's marked Removed by its author, can't change any more, and you can still study or copy it.
